     Schools & Libraries Program for Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) 

    The Schools and Libraries Program (E-Rate) provides more than $2 billion in annual grant support to 105,000 schools and 12,000 libraries throughout the US for phone service, internet access, and internal connections equipment.

    Since 1998, Solix has processed over 1.9 million requests for reimbursement and has funded one million individual grants. Our commitment reviews undergo several layers of quality assurance to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to program procedures.

      Rural Health Care Program for Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) 

    The Rural Health Care Program provides up to $400 million annually so that rural health care providers have access to affordable telecommunications and broadband services to improve the quality of care in their communities. 

    Solix processes, reviews and communicates funding decisions on applications based on program eligibility requirements, manages the web-based systems and databases, and tests for disaster-recovery preparedness.

     State Universal Service Fund Administration 

    Solix partners with more than a dozen state agencies to administer their universal service funds designed to reimburse telecommunications service providers for discounts for low-income, hearing or vision impaired customers. Other state programs include reimbursement to service providers for supplying services in high cost remote areas, or for revenue impacts driven by regulatory requirements.

     State Registry and Database Management 

    Solix has helped many state agencies implement and manage registries and databases, including the Glenda Dawson Organ Donor Registry in Texas. Solix developed a comprehensive solution including the online registration process, branded website and donor database. Solix processed over a million donor registration forms for this important initiative.
